- 18/02/02 Unless there is some fundamental or inherent business problem within Merck, this share price rate should soon rise (from US$60), as the share price is the same as it was in 1998. Since 1998, has been a period where the share price capacity has been limited by some factors. It is now well time for this stock to increase, but, I repeat, this depends on there being no inherent business problem. The same observation would have been made in early 1996 and again at the end of 1998. The current phase may indicate that a review of business strategies is required.
- 14/04/02 The recent decline is similar to that ofJune and July 2001. In the short term (6 months), the share price should return to US$65.and a probable return to US$80 in the next 12 months (based on the share price in 1999).
- The recovery of this share has not been realised. This share has the potential to recover to $65 in 2004.
- 22/5/2004 An increase in this share price is likely - and soon.
- 15/7/2005. Well badly wrong here. This is a sick company.
- 04/06/2006. Some investigation of the market environment is needed before a prediction of recovery can be posted.
- 04/08. I would be cautious for anything over $50 for 2008. This share has the characteristics of chaos.
